Programs/Candidates to consider

Here's info from Gonzalo. URL's below are not linked (I don't think), so you need to cut and paste--or find Gonzalo's original e-mail note. Thanks for this stuff Gonzalo!!

Finally and belatedly pored over the websites of the 4 NASAD schools and carefully read about their Liberal Arts programs, curricula and offerings. Three of the four would seem to be an easy fit with CLEA:

Maryland Institute College of Art: http://www.mica.edu/PROGRAMS/bfa/liberal_arts/curriculum.cfm
(MICA's program is called "Language, Literature and Culture")

Oregon College of Art and Craft: http://ocac.edu/Departments/general_studies.htm
(Program and Department are both called "General Studies")

San Francisco Art Institute: http://sanfranciscoart.edu/Page.aspx?page=143&navID125§ionID=4
(Program and Curriculum are "Liberal Arts")

The School of Visual Arts, on the other hand, seems to have a disparate, decentralized and adjunct-heavy catch-as-catch-can program:

Let me know if this is still of any help and whether we should try to send a letter to any or all of these.
